About Tau Upsilon Zeta Chapter
The Tau Upsilon Zeta Chapter was chartered on June 12, 2004 by five vivacious women in Clinton, MS. These trailblazers are Georessica T. Saul, Michelle Frisby, Vanessa R. Banks, Cynthia D. Hill, and Tamitha Dill. These women believed that Clinton, MS was good ground that needed the seeds of Zeta to fertilize it and bring forth a good harvest. As visionaries of Tau Upsilon Zeta Chapter, they sought to replenish the area with Service, Sisterhood, Finer Womanhood, and Scholarship.
Since its chartering, Tau Upsilon Zeta has quickly proven itself a valued asset in the community of Clinton as well as the state of Mississippi by exhibiting the principles on which our organization was founded.
Continuously striving to be the best at everything that we do, Tau Upsilon Zeta is proud of our efforts to excel. The Chapter understands the importance of improving the human condition and is steadfast in efforts to collaborating with other community organizations, such as Adopt-a-Family, HIV/AIDS Outreach, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Clinton, Community Christian Corporations (4C’s), Building Bridges, Inc., Friendship Connection, Clinton Park Elementary, etc. Tau Upsilon Zeta has received many awards on the state, regional, and national levels for our efforts and dedication in uplifting humanity.
The ladies of Tau Upsilon Zeta Chapter are bound for greatness and keep the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated as a beat in our hearts, reminding us why we exist.
